One of my daily tasks is to keep an eye on what’s going on in the world of RSS, today I decided to input RSS into
Google Trends just to see what is happening.

The interesting stuff however is in the countries tab, it seems Japan is leading the way - last time we check it was russia.

As you can see the USA, the UK don’t even figure in the top 10.However the search for RSS generator is a different story. india is leading and Australia is now second behind USA and UK

Big companies look after RSS service and Rmail is a strategic one. Last week i talk about Rmail and Randy Morin. And this week NBC universal annouced Rmail acquisition.
“We are pleased to announce that Rmail is now an NBC Universal property. What does that mean to Rmail users? It means a lot of new stuff is coming, as we finally have the team to make this joyride a rollercoaster. Stay tuned for more. In the meanwhile, same-old same-old.”
NBC Universal has made a acquisition that may become a key component its marketing future strategies. NBC dropped just $150,000 on Rmail, a startup that converts RSS feeds to email, according to CNET.
NBC already delivers content from MSNBC, NBC Sports, iVillage and DotComedy via RSS. And they plan to use it largely thank to rmail Service.
